ROME, GA (SEPTEMBER 2026) - The Inaugural Wings Over Ocala Florida Air Show (WOOF) will take flight at the Ocala International Airport in Ocala, FL on April 30 through May 2, 2027.  The event will feature headlining performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

“JLC AirShow Management couldn’t be more excited to partner with the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau and Ocala International Airport to host an action-packed weekend of world-class aviation performances featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels,” said JLC AirShow Management President John Cowman. “After four years of planning, these organizations have been exceptional in working with my team to develop an air show weekend like the Ocala area has never seen. We’re very thankful for the support of the Ocala International Airport and our Title Sponsor, the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau”.

The 2027 event weekend is a three-day festival-style event. A Friday afternoon and night show kicks-off with gates opening at 1 p.m., just in time to see the U.S. Navy Blue Angels final rehearsal flight demonstration. Following their flight, high performance jets, warbirds, and aerobatic performances featuring lights and pyrotechnics will take place during the twilight and evening hours.  The evening will culminate with a 300-drone performance with choreographed music, and a huge fireworks extravaganza.

More than a dozen performers will take flight and fill the skies over Ocala, FL with thrilling aerial demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday. The Blue Angels will be the final demonstration both days.

Featured acts for the air show weekend include: a four-ship F-15 Eagle Demo, a Parachute Jump Team, Bill Braack piloting the 400 MPH Smoke-n-Thunder Jet Car, Redline Airshows aerobatic team, Kyle Fowler in the Long EZ, Michael Goulian piloting his aerobatic Extra 330 SC, Bob Carlton flying his graceful twin jet sailplane, and Scott Farnsworth will lead the Outlaw Jet Team flying a high-performance two-ship L-39 Albatross demo.

Vintage aircraft and warbird demonstrations will feature Jim Tobul in his F4U Corsair, American Honor Foundation’s four-ship P-51 Mustangs, and the F-86 Sabre demo.

Additional acts will be added and confirmed as the show date approaches.
